Faro Algarve Monuments Doglioni Palace
The palace Doglioni, or Palace Cumana, a nineteenth-century building "remarkable" the city of Faro.
The original building, located at Rua do Teatro Lethes, was purchased by Dr. Lazarus Doglioni in the early nineteenth century to be is home, and then did significant changes in it. It was inherited by his nephew, Dr. Justino Cumano. Further changes occurred, around 1920, by action of a new heir, the industrial Júdice Fialho, son of Justin Cumana.
In recent decades, the buildings was the Tourism School of Faro (currently occupy the premises of the Convent of St. Francisco). The bulding was recently been subject of repairs in order to house some departments of the CCDR Algarve.
