Throughout the region the neighborhood Querença (Municipality of Loulé, Faro District, central region of the Algarve Portugal), are found in many trees: citrus,
fig, carob, olive and strawberry trees, holm oaks, cork, not forgetting of course, the almond trees, characteristic of the Algarve, and that in time of flowering, give this neighborhood so much joy and natural beauty. Also other trees can be found as orange trees, pear, apple trees, walnut, fig, almond, peach, quince and plum trees.
There are also cereal crops such as wheat, barley and oats. The crops are growing fewer, and production in smaller quantities.
The parish abundant wild plants and wild, of which, the oleander, which is a flowering shrub graceful, can be emphasized.
