Loulé Dry Fruits Museum
The dry fruits museum is a space that is based in a former factory dedicated to the manufacturing process of the treatment of almond and carob.
The Museum presents the crushing of carobs and almonds, and the production cycles.
The dry fruits museum is located at Rua Gil Vicente, in what it was a small factory for the production and marketing of dried fruits, recently turned off, rented and adapted by the City Council of Loulé for museum. There may be seen a almond grinder machine, and a carob grinder machine, with other objects and materials, that allows visitors to direct contact with traditional processes and a better understanding and knowledge of the socio-economic activity.
