MESA - SOUTHEAST WRITING MUSEUM OF ALMODÔVAR
Writing Museum of southeast in Almodovar, have 2500 years of written waiting for your visit
The Museum of Southeast Writing is located in the village of Almodovar, Beja District, Portugal, dedicated to the Southwest Writing.
The museum is housed in the building of the former Cine-Theatre Municipal, in the historic center of Almodovar. Opened to the public on 29 September 2007.
The permanent collection of the museum has about 20 pieces, including a permanent collection of steles 16 archaeological discoveries in the core of Almodovar.
In his most noteworthy is the Stele of St Martin, found in the archaeological site of San Marcos da Serra, Silves, about 60 signs, considered one of the most extensive entries Tartesic Writing or the Southwest Writing.
