Situated 7 km south of Lagoa, Carvoeiro has, like all the other villages born in the sea, strong fishing
traditions, but due to the magnificent scenery of cliffs cuted by beaches and caves, has become a major tourist center, drawing people from all the world.
The town has, however, the colorful picturesque small boats anchored in the sand and white houses with blue bars.
From the small restaurants along the beach, you can enjoy a calm blue sea, while enjoying the grilled sardines or fish soup. If you prefer you can rent a boat to visit the beaches
around and opt for lunch a board enjoying a full trip.
