Bordeira Beach - Carrapateira, Algarve, Portugal
Despite being close to Carrapateira, is called Praia da Bordeira (Bordeira beach), due to the river that
flows into the southern end of the expansive beach. Not crowded, is a quiet beach that invites to spent a relaxing day. Sometimes, there is a lagoon between the beach and the road. It is a pity is that the water is cold.
How to get there: In the direction of Sagres, after about 9 km you will find the village of Bordeira on your left, continue for another 5 km to the entrance of the village of Carrapateira. Turn on the right on the first fork, and follow this roadstaight to Bordeira beach. If you contiue on track once tarred road ends and turns at the first fork to the right will reach the top of South Beach.
